MAKE A MOVE

It was on a beautiful Monday morning when I woke up so late due to the activities of the previous night, I had an 8:00am class and I woke up around 7:47am, Father Lord! It was like a war when guys started pushing themselves on whom to bath first, use the toilet first and do one or two things first just to cover up and not be late for class and as the custodian of the class P.A system, I must be in class before the lecturer to set the P.A system up, all I could do was brush my mouth and clean just the face at least to look fresh in the face of the sisters…lol.

I stormed out of the room like someone being pursued by a mad dog and of course at that point the fastest transportation from ETF to Faculty of Law where the class ought to hold is neither legediz benz nor sabo-lagere but motorcycle, all for me to get outside and hear different tones of Bike! Bike!! Bike!!!. About three of us were standing waiting for bike men to come and pick us up, the other two guys have been standing there waiting so I thought I should join them since they’ve been waiting as well(tradition madness), but to my surprise, another guy came and instead of joining us standing, he started trek-running away and in less than three minute he met a bike man and he was gone while we were still waiting checking the time and shouting Bike! Bike!! Bike!!! It was then I thought to myself that I should make a move and believe me as if the bike man was hiding for me to make a move, immediately I started trek-running I got a bike as well leaving the two others there, either they got a bike or not I have no idea. MAKE A MOVE!

Many times in life we believe some things are meant to happen to us by merit and so we remain where we are expecting a miracle, if you are waiting for the right time or the right moment, it will not come, you know what you have to do? MAKE A MOVE and see what happens. No doubt God factor cannot be undermined but the fact remains that heavens help only those who help themselves, God will do His part and you will do yours which is very paramount. Things are not moving the way you want them to move? What steps have you taken? Take a bold step and make a positive move. MAKE A MOVE!
