I remember us..
I remember when you were the only source of my joy.
I remember when you would tell me I am pretty.
I remember using reading as a camouflage for seeing you.
I remember when you were my weakness.
I remember when we would play like toddlers.
I remember when you would give me warm hugs when I needed it.
I remember when we used to laugh about everything.
I remember when we used to dream about us.
I remember loving the word 'us' when you talk about us.
I remember when our love was reciprocating.
The question 'what happened ' is left unanswered.
You suddenly made loving you so hard.
The thoughts of you in my head suddenly turned bad.
We eventually separated after everything we have tried.
Today, my mind flashed back to all the love and lies.
And yes, I miss all the things we used to have.
But nothing can be done now, all is shattered.
Love is not what we now have,it is now a game of card.
That was us, I remember us.
